Pete has been the Senior Minister at Norwest Anglican since late 2010. He is married to Bree and has three daughters and a son. Pete is really excited by the opportunities Norwest Anglican has to engage with and serve the local community. He would love to meet with you anytime to talk about how Jesus makes sense of everything.
James is one of the senior pastors of Norwest serving alongside the Senior Minister. This includes pastoring Chapel Lane and overseeing our Community Groups. He is married to Jane and they have four wonderful and noisy boys. James was converted to Jesus in Yr12 and his biggest hope continues to be that he will treasure Jesus more and more. He would love to meet you one Sunday.
Craig is married to Terese and has four children. He is one of the senior pastors at Norwest Anglican and is passionate about getting alongside people and helping them to grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus. He oversees pastoral care and new member integration at Norwest.
Tim is the Youth Pastor at Norwest, serving in youth ministry and at Chapel Lane. He and his wife Lauren married in 2016. He believes that high school students have an incredible ability to lead change in our society and is passionate about seeing them grow, not just as disciples of Jesus, but disciple makers.
Vish is the Kids Pastor overseeing and serving in our kids’ ministries at Norwest. He is married to Katherine. They are parents to beautiful Matea. He is passionate about seeing kids follow Jesus and equipping parents to raise disciples that prize Jesus. Vish enjoys all sports, going to the beach in all seasons and catching up with friends.
Jodie is the Women’s Pastor at Norwest and is married to Jason. They have two kids, Jedidiah and Jemma. Jodie loves Jesus more than anything, having come to know him in Year 11 at school. She loves spending time with her family and being in the outdoors. Jodie hopes to help women grow in their love and praise for Jesus in all things and in all seasons.
As our Schools Pastor, Evan has the amazing privilege of being able to help students in local schools see how good and forgiving God is. The message of how he has shown this in Jesus inspires him to encourage young people to live for him. He has a beautiful family; his wife Amy, four kids; Thomas, Oliver, Annabel and Rose and too many hobbies to mention!
Jason is the Music Director at Norwest leading a team of about 30 regularly rostered musicians across all our Sunday services. He is married to Jodie and has 2 children, Jedidiah and Jemma. He has a love for seeing God’s people sing his praises in ways that bring great joy to both God and his people.
Rex married Beverley in 1960 and has three sons, six grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. He ministers to older members of the congregation, and leads the Easy English community group. He was an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church for 32 years. He loves people new to Australia and is driven by his love for Jesus and Jesus’ people.
Bethany coordinates the smooth running of several ministry systems in the life of Norwest Anglican, with particular focus on the areas of pastoral care and new member integration. She is married to Matt and they have a little boy, Noah. Bethany loves seeing people come to know and follow Jesus and is excited by helping others find a home at Norwest Anglican.
Tim divides his time in the office between Kids Ministry and administrative support of the pastoral staff. Tim is excited to see how God continues to work through the children and families at Norwest. In his spare time he enjoys bushwalking, cooking and all things sport.
Suzy runs our church office and provides administrative support to the ministry team. She is married to Mark and they have three children, who keep her busy when she’s not in the office. Suzy became a Christian at the end of high school, and is ever thankful for God’s love and faithfulness. She enjoys watching a good movie, spending time with her family and getting together with friends.
Simon is a student minister at Norwest and is currently studying at Moore College. He and his wife Sarah are both Chinese and came to Australia from Beijing in 2004. They got married the following year and they have two kids, Brandon and Ada. Simon’s first language is mandarin. He longs to share the Gospel in mandarin, that many Chinese will come to trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord.
Maria is completing a two-year ministry internship with particular focus on sharing Jesus with Chinese people. She married Oliver Liu in 1999 and they have a son and a daughter, Minglei and Helen. Maria is passionate about helping the many Chinese people who have moved into this area come to know and love Jesus, find a home at Norwest, and become part of this church family.
