There will always be a warm welcome for you at Norwest Anglican, no matter how involved you wish to be in the life of our church community. However, we would love for you to become a full member of our church, choosing to partner with us in three ways. Our members commit to join us each Sunday for a church service, participate regularly in a community group and serve within the life of our church:
- Our involvement in a church service means that we are committed to gathering week in and week out with our Christian brothers and sisters. We come to church to hear God’s word read and explained, to join together to pray and sing of God’s goodness to us, and to be encouraged and to encourage others in the ups and downs of life.
- Community Groups provide the context for us to share life with one another in ways that are not possible when we meet together on Sundays. Meeting mid-week in these smaller groups, we help each other to consider how we can apply God’s wisdom to every aspect of our lives. These groups provide the foundation for us to care for one another’s spiritual and physical needs – and to consider how we serve those around us.
- By serving alongside others at church we are encouraged to use our God-given gifts, experience, time and energy to serve Him, others in our church community and neighbours beyond.
