Mid-week
at Norwest

Life is better together

We believe that relationships are the true focal point of life; so spending time with one another over a cup of coffee after church and meeting up during the week are really important aspects of our life together.

Community Groups

Community Groups are for all adult members of our church. Whether you’ve been brought up in a Christian family or are a new follower of Jesus, participating in one of our groups is a central part of being a member of Norwest Anglican. Typically, our community groups comprise eight to twelve members and meet mid-week in a member’s home.

These meetings provide a wonderful opportunity for us to delve deeper into the Bible, contemplate how God’s truth and wisdom relates to our lives, and to encourage and support one another through life’s ups and downs. Belonging to a Community Group is one of the most important ways that we share life together.

Retreads

One of our special Community Groups is called Retreads. This is a group for older men who happen to have a few more available hours than most. The men get together to read God’s Word and pray, eat lunch, and then together they take on a physical project around the grounds of the church.

English Lessons

Fridays / 9:30—12pm

You are welcome to join us, no matter how well you speak English. We all meet together at the start of each class, and then go on to graded lessons. Part of each lesson is devoted to reading the English text Bible, which has had a significant impact on our Australian culture. We enjoy morning tea together each week.
