"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" - Jesus

At the very core of our being, before we are thinkers or doers or deciders, we are people who are driven by what we love. Getting our hearts right is the key to living right. But how do we get our hearts right? Camp Norwest has the answer.

This year Youth at Norwest (years 6-12) are heading off on our annual weekend away: Camp Norwest! We’ll have three days at beautiful Port Hacking filled with fun activities, Bible teaching, discussion groups and games. Water activities include tubing, swimming and water sliding.

Camp finishes with a bang back at Norwest with our Chapel Lane service on the Sunday night. It’s the final celebration for the weekend with the camp band, a vibrant youth-led service and our final camp talk – and everyone’s there to hear it! In many ways it’s the best part of the weekend. We love having parents and siblings join us to get a taste of what Camp Norwest has been like.

Can my child bring a mobile phone or similar device to camp?

We love it when Camp Norwest is a place where we are physically present with each other and free from things that will distract our attention from the community formed at Camp. Many of our youth have let us know they found it helpful not having phones around for the weekend away in previous years.

Youth will not need a phone on camp and we ask that you do not allow your child to bring their devices. In case of emergency, the phone numbers above are the best way to get in touch with us while we’re away.

Safe Ministry at Norwest
